After having a newborn boy with her lover A$AP Rocky in May of last year, Rihanna has updated her followers on her experiences as a new mother.
The three-person family was revealed on February 15 as the new cover heroes of British Vogue’s March 2023 issue. The front of the album cover features Rihanna strolling down the sand while reaching out to her rapper boyfriend, who is cradling their nine-month-old son in his arms.
The cover is merely a small window into Rihanna’s recent motherhood. Everything from her son’s sleeping habits to the moment she and A$AP Rocky left the hospital as a family of three was disclosed by the “Diamonds” singer to British Vogue.

Furthermore calling her first nine months as a mother “amazing,” Rihanna continued, “It’s everything. The most absurd thing ever is that you genuinely don’t remember life before.
“You literally try to remember it – and there are photos of my life before – but the feeling, the desires, the things that you enjoy, everything, you just don’t identify with it because you don’t even allow yourself mentally to get that far, because…because it doesn’t matter,” she explained.
When it came time to deliver her baby boy back in May, Rihanna said she felt “blessed” that her birthing experience was “beautiful”.
